Today we finished reading our e-test lesson on Earth's movement in space. Students then worked independently on the corresponding assignments in Schoology. For those students who did not complete the assignments before class ended, you have until the start of class next Wednesday, October 5. If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to get your missing assignments! If they are notebook assignments, extra copies can be found in the green folder in Mrs. Brokaw's plastic mail bin on the back counter in Mrs. Eny's classroom. Other assignments will be found on Schoology. If you have any questions, ask. Unit 2 Lesson 2: Earth's Movement in Space
September 22, the first day of fall, is one of two equinoxes that occurs during the year. The other, the first day of spring, occurs on March 21.
Today's class included an activity focused on the Cosmic Cliffs of Carina Nebula. The goal of the activity was to think about God and His wondrous creations. The above image was taken by the James Webb Space Telescope (NASA) in July of 2022. The image shows the birth of a star 7,600 years ago! The star is 7,600 light years away. Vocabulary Quiz Wednesday
