The Mississippi River is 2,340 miles long. 2. The Missouri River is longer by one mile. 3. The Rio Grande is 1,885 miles long. 4. The Rappahannock River is 195 miles long. All of these rivers flow east of the Continental Divide. The Missouri River is the longest river in the United States! Today we wrote thank you notes to Ms. Jennifer and Mr. Tyler at The Friends of the Rappahannock.
We enjoyed our field trip last Wednesday. The kids learned so much and behaved so well. We were very proud of them! We continued our class time focusing on the water systems throughout the United States. |
